| I was thinking about this. Shouldn't Yoda, not Obi-Wan, have trained Anakin? I'm sure that had Yoda trained im perhaps Anakin would not have turned. |

| Yoda may have been too busy with his other requirements with the Jedi Council to personally train Anakin. |

Also, I seem to have read that Yoda's general practice for training seems to be for the younglings only, and then they move on to some other Jedi to complete the training. Now, Dooku refers to Yoda as his former Master, but does that mean that Yoda trained Dooku fully? Perhaps not, for we know that Obi-Wan also refers to Yoda as his Master in Empire, but we find in Phantom Menace that Qui-Gon was his Master. Likely both Obi-Wan and Dooku were trained by Yoda during their 'yougling' stages. My speculation. I don't know if the Official Site says differently, or some form of EU perhaps. |

| Dooku was actually a full Padawan of Yoda, not just a student of his as a "youngling". This is also true of Ki-Adi-Mundi and Qu Rahn.
However, Obi-Wan was only trained under Yoda as a "youngling", as probably nearly all the Jedi were at the time of the prequels. |

| Yoda didn't seem to fond of Ani in TPM, so putting them together wouldn't be such a great idea.
Plus, Obi-Wan promised Qui-Gon he would train him, so the council decided to let him and Obi-Wan prob would have discussed it with them if it had been otherwise, given the scene at the near the end of TPM where Yoda tells Kenobi he is a Knight and he is Ani's master. |
