Abortion:
Yoda opposes abortion. If Shimi, a single mother, had wanted an abortion, Anakin, the strongest Jedi, wouldn't be around. Qui-Gon noticed his high midi-chlorian count and brought him to the Jedi temple. The Council wants Anakin trained, but Yoda doesn't agree with them.
