What's new from the past week or so:
Every news story from the past week has had one common element:
Disney/Pixar's newest movie: Monsters, Inc., which will be released Friday, November 2, 2001.

First the news about the movie itself:
Frank Oz (Yoda's voice and puppeteer) provides the voice for one of the monsters. He is the voice of "Fungus", a red three eyed monster named who is the assistant to the bad guy named Randall. Other famous actors who supply voices for the monsters are Billy Crystal, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi.

Now, the news that is more important to most of us:
The Official Site (starwars.com) has confirmed reports that the first trailer for Episode II: Attack of the Clones will be attached to Monsters, Inc. Also, according to a few people who have seen the trailer, Yoda is in it. We only see him for a brief moment, but we see him. The Yoda we see is CG (computer generated), and supposedly looks really good.
Along with the trailer attached to Monsters, Inc., there is rumored to be a slightly longer version available for download from the Phantom Menace DVD site (dvd.starwars.com) on November 9th, and a full 2.5 minute trailer to be shown before the new Harry Potter film, which is released November 16.
