YodaJeff reviews Attack of the Clones

Be warned that if you haven't seen the movie yet, this contains spoilers.

After three long years, I have seen Attack of the Clones. I have seen Yoda prove that he is the master. Wow. The entire last half hour or so of the movie was non-stop action. Yoda comes to the rescue... twice. After seeing the movie and hearing everyone else's reactions, I have a feeling that Yoda has become the most popular Star Wars character.

On to the rest of the movie: I have to disagree with the critics who said that the movie was slow at times. I didn't ever get bored or tired. I never though "can't they hurry this scene up". Yes, the romance was cheesy. That is how Star Wars romance is. In my opinion, all of the actors did a great job. Hayden Christensen did a great job when he tells Padme about slaughtering all of the Tusken Raiders. You could hear the anger and hatred in his lines. Ewan McGregor was wonderful with is smart-aleck comments, such as "I'm going to the bar to get a drink" or "Good Job!". He is becoming the Han Solo of the prequel trilogy. Natalie Portman was wonderful as Padme Amidala. She delivered her lines well. Christopher Lee was awesome as Count Dooku. He portrayed the perfect "bad guy" (as was expected - he has a lot of experience).

Overall rating: 9/10 (I can't give it 10/10 because there's always Episode 3).
