RIP - Stuart Freeborn

Stuart Freeborn has passed away at the age of 98. Stuart was a makeup artist and special creature designer for the original Star Wars trilogy, having created the original Yoda sculpts.

It is rumored that Freeborn modeled parts of Yoda's face after his own face (along with Einstein's), so Freeborn's work will continue to live on for years to come.
